Now the moment you have all been waiting for...
The Winner of the Christmas Competition...
Sophie Atkinson from Glasgow!
with your Christmas Hot Chocolate.
Thank you all for your great submissions and we hope that you will try again in our Lavender Competition as this time points mean prizes!
This is a lovely festive recipe, fills you with warmth and christmas flavours. You can also make a large batch of it and store it in an air tight container so it can last you all through the jolly season.
Christmas Hot Chocolate.
Serves 2
1tbsp Condensed Milk Powder
1/2 tbsp Icing sugar
1/2 tbsp Cocoa powder
1tsp Cinnamon
1tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Ginger
The recipe calls for three spices, these can be fresh but as we are making a powdered hot chocolate they work best if dried and ground.
To make the hot chocolate mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
Divide into two mugs, add warm milk to each mug and stir.
Feel free to decorate with marshmallows and chocolate chips!
